Question by I´m the Money: Could you please help me selecting and separating priorities?
I´ll soon move to my own apartment, here is a list of things that I can´t stop thinking of and really want at once, I can´t have everything at once so what should I consider first and list as a priority to don´t make the bad move and then regret it?

Rent, cookware, laptop, beauty products, healthy organic food, LCD tv, Iphone or Ipod, designer clothing, shoes, hair treatment, french classes, Ballet and Yoga classes, guitar classes and finally save to travel Australia.

Thank you! Help!!!!!!

The first three should be the rent, good cookware, and a good laptop. As you have to eat, you need to work out a budget for your food. You need clothing and shoes, but this can be budgeted too. Your hobbies and classes should come after you pay your rent and food, etc. Did you forget your insurance? Even if you are renting, you need a good renter’s policy….

1–rent (you need a place to stay)
2–healthy organic food (you have to eat)

For the rest it depends on what you want the most–focus on that. Make a “wish board” with pictures of the things you want and see which one really jumps out. Then use that as a reminder of your goal.
For instance, I got a beach design on my checks so that everytime I bought something I would be reminded of the trip to the islands I wanted (and whether I wanted whatever I was buying more that I wanted that trip)–it helped me save up

You can learn yoga from a book (which you can get at the library). You can learn french from Rosetta stone (which is also at the library). You can get by with basic cookware.
Skip the designer clothing and shoes and develop your own sense of style with more affordable choices. Still go look at the designer clothing (to find out what looks good on you), then go find a lower cost version. Focus on classics that won’t go out of style so quickly. Look at Tim Gunn’s guide to style and his list of the 10 essential wardrobe items.
If you’ve never taken ballet before, skip that one. But if you started as a child and are continuing–decide how important it is to you now. To take guitar classes, you have to have a guitar. Do you already have one? You can also learn the basics of guitar from a book. Look for low cost classes (like at a Y).
What’s your life goal? do you have a particular career you’re aiming for? Which of those classes will help you move towards your goal?
I’d rate ipod over iphone (the ipod prices are down and iphone hasn’t peaked yet). A laptop could help you with a lot of your goals, but in a pinch you can use computers at the library.
You didn’t even mention furniture–are you renting a furnished apartment? or do you have hand-me-downs from family?
If it’s your first time living alone, you need to make a budget first.
How much is your income, then subtract the rent, utilities (electric, water, gas, phone, cable/internet, insurance), then estimate food costs and subtract those, also transportation to your job (metro? gasoline?) and see what’s left to save towards all that stuff you want.

The three basics come first, Food, Clothing, Shelter. Shelter includes money each month for rent and utilities. You can’t survive without paying the heating, electric and water bills.

After the top three comes transportation to get to a job to earn money to pay for the top three. That could mean bus fare, or car, fuel and insurance payments.

The rest is equally important and unimportant. Take your pick how you want to spend anything left over.

ok first should be rent
cookware
healthy organic food
laptop
iphone/ipod

designer clothing/shoes
lcd tv
