I live in Maldives so there are alot of rain showers…
I am not talking about heavy thunderstorms..just light showers
I know they arent water proof…what would happen if just a few drops of rain fell on it

Not unless you want a short-circuit from condensation to fry the device.

I’ve had devices fry in 90% humidity, let alone rain.

I am looking for a source for a screen protector for the kindle dx that fits the whole front of the machine. since it is not flat, it has keys and a recessed screen, the protector must be form fitting and made to fit this unit precisely. sure, I could just buy the regular one that only covers the screen but I use it in an extreemely dusty environment and the stuff will get down in the machine between the space the keys protrude from. any suggestions? thanks lots
