Question by Leonard F: HS Son invited to a Baseball Showcase?
My 16 yr old son (Junior in HS) received a letter of invitation to a Baseball Showcase from a major university (Creighton). What exactly does this mean? Is it just a money making thing or is this something he should consider attending? He is a very good baseball player and pitcher.

THATS EXCELLENT. Basically college scouts and some MLB scouts go down there so they could see many good baseball players that get invited from the state or even the nation. If your son impresses the scouts it could be possible your son can get a scholarship to play for colleges.

Question by Eric S: In the 80′s in Chicagoland my family use to get ice cream in mini baseball helmets, anyone remember this?
I am pretty sure the restaurant was the Ground Round and my younger sister says this too but all of our older family members tell us that we are wrong. This was the late 80′s, somewhere in or around Chicago and the ice cream came in a mini major league baseball batting helmet. Can anyone remember if it was the Ground Round or not?
