Can you ladies tell me if you had any experience with a glider/rocker how useful was it? I plan to have the baby in a bassinet in my bedroom then move him into his crib when he is 3-4 months (maybe longer). Basically the glider will be in the baby’s room. I thought it may be useful in there since I’m planning to breastfeed. I need some input before purchasing one because these things are kind of pricey. Help?

or what other alternative to I have to choose from? I want to buy something else for his clothes other then a boring old dresser, any ideas? If I have to get a dresser then so be it but if you have any other ideas please share! He has a big heavy red wood changing table/dresser set we’re selling due to him being to wiggly and dangerous so now I get to go shopping again
Do they make like a cloth type dresser thing or plastic?

By choosing a baby video monitor to monitor your newborn you will be able to keep an eye on them all night while they sleep. You can watch them from your own bed knowing you will be able to see if they need you. During the day while your precious infant naps you will be able to go about your normal tasks and activities while monitoring them. When you compare baby video monitors and all their options you can decide between one or two receivers. If you decide on two receivers both parents can see their child from different areas of the home at the same time.
By using a video monitor that has dual receivers you are opting to let both of you watch your newborn at the same time. If you choose you can keep one on its base to charge to make sure you do not run down the battery. Also having a backup receiver insures that you have one handy in case you lose one.
By comparing baby video monitors you will be able to find out all the newest technology for monitors. A baby monitor is not only useful for your newborn but also older toddlers as well. If your little one awakes at night you will see if they need to be fed, changed or if they need comforting. During the day it provides help to give you the freedom to do other things while you infant is napping.
There are many monitors which are operated by battery. There are some video monitors that have the capabilities that can let your baby hear your voice if they need comforting. A good option is having a battery indicator light alerting you when the battery is running low so you can change out the battieries. Another option allows you to attach the receiver to your waist to make it more flexible while doing other activities. If you are doing something noisy like vacuuming or have the television on a sound activated light that will alert you if baby is waking up is great to have.
Choosing to have two receivers is purely optional. If it is not in your budget then using the traditional choice of one receiver works fine. Whichever option you choose when you compare baby video monitors, you will be happy knowing you are keeping your baby safe and secure at home. Baby video monitors are the perfect tool for helping to monitor your baby.
