Question by Michelle: i’m trying to lose some weight and shape up?
I’m about 5’6′ and last i weighed myself was around 164lbs.
I’m aware this is overweight, although I don’t look abnormally heavy.
I wear about an 11-13 in juniors clothes, depending on the brand.
I’ve been doing yoga, and dancing lately and am trying to eat healthier.
I’m not happy with my arms, thighs or stomach.
Is there anyway to lose weight, or bulk in those places but not in my butt or boobs?
(I’m about the same size as Whitney from ANTM)

Thanks Sandra, as I said I really don’t look overweight. I feel much fatter than i look. I love my butt, so I definitely don’t want to lose anything there, but I would like to shape up my legs and arms especially. I don’t have a fat stomach (my boyfriend loves it) but i don’t like the little pooch that I seem to have.

if you exercise at leats an hour a day
and start eatin properly then you will start to lose
some weight you just need to change your habbits

Just diet right. Stay away from carbs. No bread, rice, pasta, all those and so forth. Stay away from Soda, even diet. Drink a lot of water, I say about 7 to 9 glasses a day. Try an hour a day of cardio it works out your entire body evenly. Do as many crunches possible, after your workout to target that stomach. Lunges, will help you lost that fat on your thighs, Squats too but that will give you a bigger but toned butt. As for arms, doing that cardio will lose that fat, you can also try 5lb or 10lb dumbells while doing your cardio, will do great, you have to gain muscle before you lose the fat. Good Luck.

Sadly, there is no way to spot reduce fat or bulk on your body. In order to lose it in places you don’t like, you have to lose it everywhere. However you can tone specific places with exercise. Yoga is good for toning and strengthening.
