1972 MGB GT, So Cal, Blue Plate, One Owner 39 Yrs, For Sale This is a fabulous motorcar! Being a Southern California car since new with one owner for 39 years, this is nearly rust and accident free. Mechanically this motorcar is fully sorted and feels tight and spry. Everything works as it should and is ready to enjoy as is or it can be cosmetically improved for show. Barbara purchased this GT on June 9, 1972 and took delivery on June 12, 1972 (she had fitted an oil cooler, bumper over-riders and other accessories). She lives in Cerritos (Los Angeles suburb) and sold the car late last year, after 39 years of ownership. In July of 1990 she turned 100000 miles on the odometer and by the mid-1990′s she stored the car as she was getting more elderly. The GT now has 155000 miles from new but is mechanically fabulous. The chrome and stainless are in very nice condition and there is almost no rust issues as one would expect from a Southern California motorcar. Recent mechanical re-commissioning includes: • Rebuilt carbs, • full new and complete brakes systems, • heater valve, • complete tune-up, • radials, • new fuel lines, • boiled gas tank, and • various other improvements. All the work was completed by the engineers at British Service in the Long Beach area. This GT is complete with the original owners manual and, incredibly, a fastidiously maintained log book that documents every fuel fill-up, oil change, service, battery replacement, tune-up, tire replacement, etc. from …
James Bond – Goldfinger The pre-title teaser sequence shows Bond emerging in the drinking water inside a Latin American nation. His mission is to destroy the operations of a drug lord, who deals heroin to finance revolutions. Bond infiltrates the man’s top secret lab and lays out a substantial amount of C4 explosive with a timer. Shortly right after he meets his contact in a nearby bar, the bomb explodes, destroying much with the drug lord’s base of operations. Bond’s contact tells him his flight to Miami is confirmed and Bond follows an unique dancer (his lover within the mission) to her dressing space. Bond will take off his shoulder holster and pistol and kisses the woman. A man emerges from behind an armoire and attacks Bond, who holds the lady up being a protect. He struggles briefly together with the henchman and throws him to the bathtub. The guy seizes Bond’s gun, prompting Bond to throw an electrical heater within the water-filled tub, electrocuting the guy. Bond leaves, plainly disgusted with all the woman who betrayed him. Bond’s CIA contact, Felix Leiter, finds the agent in Miami Beach on respite. He informs Bond that M had charged him having a new mission; the observation of the man named Auric Goldfinger (Goldfinger), an global jeweler who is suspected of smuggling. Bond charms his way into Goldfinger’s hotel room and finds Jill Masterson, Goldfinger’s mistress, observing him perform cards through a set of binoculars. From her vantage stage, Jill can see … Video Rating: 5 / 5
