Question by : Can i read my kindle in light rain showers?
I’m getting a new kindle….(not touch screen or fire…the one with the 5 way controller)
I live in Maldives so there are alot of rain showers…
I am not talking about heavy thunderstorms..just light showers
I know they arent water proof…what would happen if just a few drops of rain fell on it

They are Not waterproof.

Not unless you want a short-circuit from condensation to fry the device.
I’ve had devices fry in 90% humidity, let alone rain.
